Somebody suggested that I made it so the camera doesn't move if the character moves just a little bit, this is to avoid discomfort and getting dizzy. I think it was a good call.
I just released a new game on Newgrounds Manuee's Adventure. It's a mario inspired platformer, believe it or not, this short game took me a year to make it because it was cursed, there was always something keeping me from making the game, like the game deleting by accident or the file getting corrupted. It's been a while since the last update for First Mission, and a lot has happened: new enemies, improved graphics,
new mechanics, levels, and a new Discord server. For those who don't know, Gravity Storm is an action platformer with gravity changing mechanics, inspired by classic NES games, specially the hidden gem Metal Storm. You can play the demo, First Mission, on Newgrounds or itch.io. Everything I will show in this post is subject to change.

There are some new enemies, the best looking one so far is this, which shoots up or down depending on the gravity:
The new Mechanics are tied to your new power bar that fills up by collecting object the enemies drop. So far you can
use a super laser that costs so bar and decimate everything in its path. Here's a video to demonstrate:
However, this isn't the only thing you'll be able to do with the power bar, You'll also be able to use an enhanced version of your dash that can be perform in the air and dodge any attack, and when switching gravity, you'll transform into a fireball that damages enemies when colliding with them.
The game is supposed to come out in November, but it'll most likely to be delayed because it the development is proving to be more challenging than expected because the new mechanics are complicated to implement.
I wanted to make a demo available on Steam because I want to be on the Steam Next Fest, but I can't actually afford
a Steam page right now, so we'll see what happens.

After a small hiatus, I started working on Real Mission again. This is a showcase of a new level I am making and a enemy whose projectiles change trajectory depending on the gravity. Of course, everything is still a bit rough around the edges.
Gravity Storm - Real Mission is in development, but you can play the demo here on Newgrounds, Gravity storm - First Mission.
Although I am focused on the development of Gravity Storm - Real Mission, sometimes I update First Mission. The newest features are a new song for the menu, some typos are corrected, and improved tileset for level 1 and 2.

A new tileset and moving platforms for Gravity Storm - Real Mission. I leave you guys some YouTube videos with what's new for Real Mission, the subtitle for the new version of Gravity Storm, it will be a paid download-only game that will be available on itch.io in October. However, those who already donated will get the game for free. I hope you like the new graphics and mechanics!
After giving it a lot of thought I have decided to make a new big update for Gravity Storm - First Mission, which is going to be a downloaded-only paid game. The current version of the game is going to be rebranded as a demo. Those who already made a donation will recieve a key to download it for free when it comes out.
The new update will contain new levels, enemies and bosses, as well as new graphics and animations. More new content will be announced soon. I know I said that the last update was going to be the last one, sorry for that, but this something I need to do given my current situation.
I'm working hard to make sure that this new version is polished and fun. As for Gravity Storm 2, its future is uncertain, I have other priorities now, and it might take a really long time to come out.
